Lincoln NE Realtor
Stacie Holliday
I was born and raised on a farm outside Aurora, NE. I learned to work hard and play even harder participating in XC, Basketball, Track and Softball. I played basketball at Nebraska Wesleyan for one year before transferring to the University of Nebraska at Kearney where I graduated with a degree in Art Education. After college I took a job at a summer camp in Texas called Pine Cove Christian Camps. I anticipated staying for the summer but ended up taking a position at camp and lived in Texas for 4 years. I met my husband on a recruiting trip at Kansas State University. We were married in 2006 at my home church in Phillips, NE. In 2008 we moved back to Nebraska and I took a job at Strong Financial getting my insurance license and working as an agent through them in Aurora.

I’ve always wanted to be a mom and in 2009 God blessed us with our first son. I spent the next couple years staying home and taking care of our growing family. My husband is currently the Director of IT at the Aurora Cooperative and we have 4 kiddos (3 boys and 1 girl).

What are some of your hobbies?
I enjoy figuring out how things work and don’t sit still for very long which leads to multiple hobbies. Woodworking became a skill I acquired while trying to figure out storage solutions in a fairly small house. I fell in love with the creative part of the designs and the work it took to carry them to completion. I’ve sold a few of my items and have made multiple things for friends and family but most of my projects are pieces in our own home in futile attempts to keep things organized. I have taken on the challenge of home renovations, remodels, and interior decorating. Homes themselves became kind of a hobby for me, which ultimately led to getting my Real Estate license and making it a career. Other hobbies I enjoy are running, lifting, any sport with a ball and building sweet Lego ninjago training courses.
What single/event/person/thing has most changed your life?
Jesus Christ and the penalty he made on my behalf through His death on the Cross and Resurrection. My sins are forgiven and grace abounds there is no greater joy than this.
What do you like most about helping people buy and sell a home?
Each home first started as someone’s vision before it was created and I get excited about helping people see that vision. Homes are also such an intricate part of our lives and one of the largest financial purchases you may ever make. I consider it a blessing to get to be a small part of each client’s story.
What is one unique thing about you?
I still have my CDL and know how to drive a semi-truck (from my farm girl days)
Final quote/saying/words?
“Activity does NOT lead to your identity; identity leads to your activity.”
