Jess Lincoln Realtor

I fell in love with Lincoln as a UNL freshmen when I moved from the Black Hills to begin my Bachelor’s in Communication Studies. A year after graduation, my husband, Erik, and I were married and moved to Seattle.  We spent the first three years of marriage loving all things in the Pacific Northwest while Erik earned his degree in Culinary Arts. During that time, I worked for Seattle Pacific University. When we returned to Nebraska I worked at UNL in the Dept of Teaching and earned my Masters in Leadership. I joined BancWise in 2016 and have been loving every moment as a REALTOR®!

I am so thankful to be part of this community and count it a privilege to serve sellers and buyers during such a big life transition.

My husband and I chase four little ones + a fur babe around our house. We are licensed foster parents and have appreciated being able to love the littles who have come into our home. I’ve enjoyed watching Erik work hard to make his dream happen here in Lincoln by opening his own restaurants including Honest Abe’s & Sebastian’s Table. I am so thankful to be part of this community and count it a privilege to serve sellers and buyers during such a big life transition.

What are some of your hobbies?

Do parents of young kids have hobbies?! We try to fill up all of our extra time with family and friends! I enjoy coaching my oldest daughter’s volleyball team and volunteer my spare time with our foster agency.

If you could take a trip anywhere around the world, where would it be?

The list goes on and on…Greece, Italy, Thailand, China, India, South Korea & South Africa!

What event has most changed your life?

When our youngest daughter was just two months old, she was diagnosed with a liver disorder called Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency. This was the scariest time in my life because we couldn’t do anything and everything was out of our control. Thankfully, she has incredible doctors at Children’s in Omaha and she has been stable ever since she was first diagnosed. I learned that I can’t fix everything or control every moment for my children. I’m grateful that God is so much bigger than any disease, deficiency, or disorder and He is the author of our story.
