I am a life-long Nebraskan originally from the sandhills community of Ainsworth. I attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where I earned a bachelor’s degree in athletic training and was a member of the Yell Squad for 4 years.

I met my wife, Amy, during those college years. We married in 2006 and have made our home in Lincoln ever since. We have two daughters, Kendal and Camryn.

I have held a Nebraska real estate license since 2019 and bring a background in commercial real estate to BancWise. Previously to coming on board, I also spent 12 years at DuTeau Chevrolet/Subaru as a Business Manager.

I very much enjoy live music including attending concerts, engineering live sounds, and performing, along with golf, car shows, and spending time with friends and family.

I am very excited to be a part of the BancWise team and look forward to maintaining our standard of excellence in client services.

Buying or selling a house comes with some serious stress and even more so when dealing with a interstate move at the same time. I'm so thankful I had Matt on my side as a buyer in our new home state to alleviate a lot of that stress. He was responsive, insightful, brought things to our attention we might not have otherwise thought of, and always looked out for us. I felt completely at ease with every step of our purchase and we have a home we love thanks to Matt's hard work and attention to detail. Since that time he's also been an agent for multiple family members and showed the same dedication to them. I sure hope this is our forever home, but if things change and it's not I know who I'm calling

Matt helped us buy our first home and I really can't recommend him enough. Our family had to move relatively quickly due to a personal issue and it was a very tumultuous time for us. I'm sure we drove him a little crazy with our nervous energy and endless questions, but Matt not only showed up with patience and understanding, he helped calm us down and feel secure in our decisions. For how hectic that time in our lives was for us, we really couldn't have asked for a better home buying experience and we'll definitely think of Matt first if we're ever in need of a realtor again.

What is your background?

I am originally from the Sandhills community of Ainsworth, NE. I enrolled at UNL in 1996 where I earned a bachelor’s degree in athletic training. My work experience includes medical equipment sales, the auto industry, and, most recently, commercial real estate.

If you could take a trip anywhere in the world, where would it be?

Ireland

What did you want to be when you grew up?

I wanted to be involved with sports in some way which led me to major in sports medicine.

What is one unique thing about you?

I play rhythm guitar and sing lead vocals in a local band. I am borderline obnoxious about quoting movies.

What do you enjoy most about real estate?

Knowing that I am helping to build the community that I call home.
